Sports massage is aimed at those wanting to alleviate the stress and tension that can build in the body’s soft tissues. It can also be helpful in reducing the symptoms of minor sports injuries, and in improving sports performance. If you want to be stronger, faster, better at your sport; this is the treatment for you.
We also know that an increase in soft tissue flexibility can reduce the risk of injury when training or playing sport – and so we recommend regular sports massage pre and post-event to those wishing to improve their performance.
Our sports massage sessions are for straight forward tissue work and will not include a full examination to the extent that you would get in a physiotherapy session.
